GWB Annual Event 2024

The Governor’s Workforce Board hosted its annual event, celebrating the year’s achievements and honoring workforce partners.

The board's esteemed awards were presented to the following partners:

1. Industry Impact Award - to Commercial Fisheries Center of RI
2. Youth Empowerment Award - to the RI Builders Association 
3. Community Impact Award - to the Newport Community School
4. Career Pathways Advancement Award - to the Center for Southeast Asians
5. Workforce System Innovation Award - to SkillsRI and CPNRI
6. Exemplary Service Award- to GWB Board Member Janet Raymond
