Nursing Facility Training Grants

The Nursing Facility Training Grant Program was established pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws § 23-17.5-36 and is designed to help licensed nursing facilities provide enhanced healthcare training for employees. The program is intended to support behavioral health care, dementia care, and/or training(s) that otherwise improve quality of care for patients/residents with cognitive impairments. It provides a 100% cost reimbursement for eligible costs on eligible training activities. Licensed nursing facilities that meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the program guide may apply.
