Priority Occupations

To help guide strategic workforce investments, the GWB has periodically produced consolidated analyses of projected annual job openings, median wage rates, and talent pipeline output for Rhode Island's twenty-two (22) major occupational groups. 

Additionally, the Board recently developed statewide guidance on new investments in occupational training, and is in the process of developing an interactive dashboard, the Workforce Alignment and Vocational Evaluation (WAVE) Dashboard, coming in late 2027 (see tab above).
