Strategic Investments & Evaluation Committee The Strategic Investments and Evaluation Committee is responsible for guiding workforce investments (federal, state and local), aligning/leveraging workforce funds when possible, and is authorized to oversee and approve funding allocations for the Job Development Fund (JDF). The Committee’s primary role is to ensure that investments are demand-driven; meet the talent-pipeline and hiring needs of business and industry to create economic competition and growth; and create employment opportunities for Rhode Island workers to earn a living wage.
