PrepareRI 2.0 Plan

PrepareRI is run by an inter-agency task force consisting of staff from the Department of Education, the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner, and the Governor's Workforce Board. The initiative consists of a variety of individual programs with the goal of preparing students for in-demand jobs. It was built on the belief that all young people - regardless of of their background or intended career - will need some form of postsecondary credential and work experience to be successful; and it is meant to ensure that employers will have a skilled workforce to thrive in the economy of tomorrow. For more information about PrepareRI and its individual programs, please visit https://www.prepare-ri.org/.
